Advancing Nepal’s Tourism Industry: Collaborating for Success,” was a resounding success! On behalf of NRNA I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the presence of Hon. Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Mr. Sudan Kirati and Secretary at Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Mr. Suresh Adhikari and DG Tourism department of Nepal Mr. Hom Luitel. We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all former ambassadors Ms. Anjan Shakya- Israel, Mr. Bhim Udash-Myanmar, Mr. Dipak Dhital- Switzerland/UN, Ms. Lucky Sherpa-Australia, Mr. Madhu Raman Acharya-Bangladesh, UN, Mr. Jhabindra Aryal- Egypt, Mr. Mohan Krishna Shrestha- France, Mr. Yubanath Lamsal- Denmark, Mr. Madhuvan Paudel-Kuwait, Mr. Durga Bhattarai- Srilanka, Maldives and Mr. Pradumna Bikram Shah- Brazil who spoke at the event, sharing the wealth of their experience in promoting Nepal Tourism abroad while serving as Nepal’s Ambassador. Their contribution was invaluable and inspiring. The event was organized jointly by NRNA, Europe-Nepal Chamber of Commerce for Tourism (ENCCT) and Nepal Tourism Board (NTB). The key goals of the event were as follows: • Create a network of international tourism organisations and businesses that share a particular interest in Nepal. • Create an integrated network of Nepal’s tourism entrepreneurs, authorized bodies, and those who reside abroad. • Create a global B2B channel by linking the above two networks with the help of the NRN network and diplomatic missions abroad. The goal is to provide targeted business networks abroad to tourism businesses in Nepal, thus avoiding the need to participate in expensive travel fairs like WTM, ITB, etc. Special thanks to NTB CEO Dr Dhanajay Regmi extraordinary effort in organising today’s event. Also, thanks to Mr. Tejendra B. Mahat (CEO, Hotel Association Nepal), Mr. TP Bhusal (Media Consultant, NTB) and Mr. Rabi Kiran Adhikari (CEO, NRNA) for impeccable help and support. We would like to acknowledge the continue efforts provided by Tourism goodwill ambassador from Croatia, Qatar and the representative from HAAN, TAAN, NATA, NARA, NT,HPRR- Spain including NRN friends media representatives and all the participant who has contributed directly and indirectly. Last but not the least, on behalf of the organising team, I would like to express my immense gratitude to everyone at NTB for their gracious hospitality and unwavering support throughout the event.
