The age is the age of science and technology. With the education and technology the advancement of the world is possible. The modern world is movable with the practicality of education. Establishment of libraries in Rural Nepal is a campaign to modernize and introduce the youth to the world. Moreover, libraries in Nepal can create a big plate form to enhance the education and to widen the horizon of knowledge. With my full dedication and passion I am trying to establish E libraries in Nepal.

Many people in Nepal are still deprived of getting education. E library is taken as an informal part to educate the ignorant. There is lack of resources in the locality and not access to the formal education. In such context E- Library can connect the people to the world. They can stay in a place and reach to the world. They can have access to the many books at a time. This ultimately increases their way of looking the things.

When I was returning from Barcelona in 2014, June 4 while returning from the meeting of Regional meeting of NRNA, I felt desperate need of the libraries in the school where I had studied my secondary education. It was already around 20 years’ time that I had spent the time in abroad and was planning to do some good deeds in my childhood school, Immediately, I contacted to the ex-students, teachers and stakeholders of my school with the proposal of establishing the e libraries. We decided to establish a library where will be access of internet. I coordinated to collect the funds who are living abroad. Within 3 months of time we abled to collect the sum of 280000 NPR.The concept of establishing the library became possible when there was a common interest to provide informal education for the local people of the villagers, youth and students of my school.  Through the social media this campaign shaped more or less. In this ay the campaign started. Various Medias of Nepal covered the news of our projects.

Every Nepalese who are living abroad feel the spirit of the campaign so that we can make a small contribution to uplift the education, empowerment of Nepalese people. Now many people are in the campaign to establish E- libraries. Following the model of our first initiation of Baglung many people living abroad are motivated and inspired to make libraries in their own localities. Through Nepal Library Foundation many projects are completed already, some re undergoing and some in the coming projects.

In our definition E- library is a place which has the access to the listening, reading and watching. School books, magazines, religious books, novels, poems etc. are available in the libraries. NRNA has developed an application to operate it. Nepal Library Foundation implements the projects in Nepal.  In my initiation the coordination between NRNA and Nepal library Foundation is the joint project for E- libraries in Nepal.
