As a passionate advocate for tourism in Nepal, I have been actively involved in various initiatives and campaigns over the years. From my role as Vice President of the Malta-Nepal Friendship Society in 2020 to my current position as Tourism Goodwill Ambassador for Wales, United Kingdom, I have dedicated myself to promoting Nepal’s natural beauty and cultural heritage to the world. One of the highlights of my work in the tourism industry was serving as the Global Campaign Moderator for the Visit Nepal 2020 Special Task Force, NRNA ICC from 2019 to 2021. It was a challenging role, but also incredibly rewarding to see the positive impact that our efforts had on promoting Nepal as a must-visit destination for travelers around the globe.
I have also been deeply committed to supporting Nepal’s tourism industry in the aftermath of the devastating earthquakes that struck the country in 2015. As Chair of the Nepal Tourism Promotion Committee, NRNA ICC from 2021 to 2023, I have worked tirelessly to rebuild and promote tourism in affected areas, and I am proud of the progress we have made so far. In addition to my work with tourism organizations, I have also been involved in a variety of other initiatives and campaigns.
I served as Honorary Public Relations Representative for the Nepal Tourism Board in Malta from 2021 to 2023, and I have been a member of the International Coordination Council, NRNA ICC from 2015 to 2017. I am deeply grateful for the recognition and appreciation that I have received from different institutions for my contributions to tourism and other causes. From being named Advisor-Chitwan Yuwa Samuha International Coordination Committee in 2015 to being Chief of Foreign Affairs for the Sapkota Kalyan Kendra Nepal from 2005 to 2016, I am honored to have been a part of so many important initiatives and organizations. Overall, I am proud of the work that I have done to promote tourism in Nepal and to support other important causes over the years.
I look forward to continuing to be a strong advocate for my country and I
ts people in the years to come. As I continue to work towards promoting tourism and helping my fellow Nepalis, I am reminded of the words of Mahatma Gandhi, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” I am committed to being that change.

Nepal Goverment must make effort to reduce various obstacles and huddles faced by tourist from visa-processing to Visiting . Nepal can continue to attract visitors from around the world and grow its tourism industry.
I have been passionate about promoting tourism in my country and have been actively involved in the industry for several years. One of my earliest contributions was founding the Nepal Tourism Board, where I served as a board member for six years. During my time there, I worked to improve the overall tourism infrastructure in Nepal, including promoting sustainable tourism practices and expanding marketing efforts to attract more international tourists.
In addition to these organizational contributions, I have personally worked to promote Nepal as a premier tourism destination through various initiatives. For example, I was part of a team organizing the Himalayan Travel Mart in 2017, the first-ever international travel trade show in Nepal. The event attracted more than 225 buyers worldwide and helped showcase Nepal’s tourism potential to a global audience.
Overall, I am deeply committed to promoting tourism in Nepal and will continue to work towards developing the industry sustainably and responsibly.
