2nd July 2025, Cambridge — A date forever etched in our hearts. Today, I am humbled, emotional, and immensely proud to share a truly special moment for our family. My beloved daughter, Sonia Sapkota, has officially graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from Trinity College, University of Cambridge — one of the oldest and most prestigious academic institutions in the world.
Watching Sonia walk through the historic halls of Cambridge, dressed in academic robes, was not just a proud father’s moment — it was the culmination of years of unwavering effort, sacrifice, and silent perseverance. From late-night studies to challenging transitions, from navigating life abroad to excelling in one of the most intellectually demanding environments, Sonia has shown nothing but resilience, humility, and grace.
This wasn’t just her journey — it became a shared dream, shaped by her discipline, supported by our prayers, and lifted by the values we hold dear as a family. Seeing her stand tall among brilliant minds reminded me that success is not just about intelligence, but about character, compassion, and consistency.
Dear Sonia, you have always carried yourself with dignity, kindness, and purpose. This degree is a well-earned milestone, but what we admire most is the thoughtful, grounded, and generous human being you’ve become. You have made us proud — not only through your academic excellence but by staying true to your roots and values.
This graduation ceremony at the University of Cambridge is more than a celebration of academic success. It is a symbol of what can be achieved through courage, hard work, and belief — and it inspires all of us to continue striving, dreaming, and growing.
As parents, we will always be your biggest supporters, wherever life takes you next. Congratulations once again, Sonia. We love you deeply, and we celebrate not just your degree, but your journey. 💐🎓📖
With heartfelt pride,
Som Nath Sapkota & Family
